MIYAZAKI'S HEROINES
Introducing my last project "Miyazaki's Heroines " a series of 9 different stories recreating the heroines of Hayao Miyazaki's (宮崎 駿, co-founder of Studio Ghibli ) films. Finding the characters through a more realistic, sincere and personal vision in a contemporary real life.

Arrietty from " The Secret World of Arrietty"/ 借りぐらしのアリエッティ / Arrietty y el Mundo de los Diminutos
For closing this project, there is an "extra character". Even though this Ghibli film is not a Miyazaki movie (only as writer), I love Arrietty and I feel that she has the same qualities as another strong and independent heroine who is always fighting with all her heart for what she believes in. In the same way as the other heroines of this project, Miyazaki has always shown us a beautiful image of strong, kind and courageous women inside every film.
And that's why I wanted to embody these fantastic female characters in real girls, because we can all be our own heroine!
